How app does work
Make a pin on the map to set the destination.
Walk navigation works in the exploration screen (* It has 5 different map modes. Free roaming / Sight-seeing / Shopping / Community / Nature mode)
Audio navigation is available as well.While users enjoying exploration following navigations, they can get the digital stamps by taking the photo of see spot.
While exploring, users can find the other users on the map, which gives them the encounter opportunities of new friends
Along with photo taking, for the stamp collecting, users can get a new digital stamp by doing small challenges in the certain see spots.
In the stamp page, users can see their stamp collection. Based on a digital stamp, users can get the rewards such as a discount coupon from the local business (Local cafe or Second hand shop etc.)


Project overview
The starting point of Stampia is SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities,
WSA: Culture and Heritage. The goal is to help new immigrants integrate into their new environment, preventing them from being isolated.
We have designed a game-like UX that guides the attractiveness of the Finnish culture and heritage through an enjoyable exploration.

Requirements
Main target: New-arriving international students in Finland. Especially, non-EU students, exchange students. Target age group is 18 to 30 years old.
Even though they want to get used to Finland, newcomers tend to be isolated in the new environment.
They may face on so many difficulties in the first stage of immigration such as a language barrier, cultural difference.
International students may lack local connections to give them information about their new city.
Finding good deals in a new environment is difficult on your own.

Solutions
Users can get to know the see spots and deals near them as if playing game in a fun way.
By considering the accessibility and usability, it has the audio mode and 3D map mode.
By finding the other users on the map, more opportunities to help users meet up with likeminded people.
The main function of digital stamp collection can enhance their motivation to explore the new areas.
Users can get the rewards such as a discount coupon of the local supermarket, which encourages them to find new favorite places.
Ideation
We have used many ways of ideation method, for instance Story board, Mood board, Persona with scenario, User interview, Empathy map etc.
The overall UX ideas were put together by the three of us on the team.
Keywords of tone and manner: Enjoyable, Pleasant, Adventurous, Entertaining, Inspiring, Stimulating

Design guideline
The font is Poppins that has an iconic rounded shapes gives up-lifting vibes.
Since the UX also incorporates gamification, I have intended to make tone and manner that represents enjoyable feeling.
In the early design stages and mid-fidelity prototypes, we have increased the color contrast to improve visibility.
